After foraying into television with the upcoming 13th season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, we have now learnt that Daisy Shah plans to stay on television for a bit longer. The actress may be roped in to play the protagonist in the seventh season of Naagin. Yes, you heard it right! Daisy is likely to play naagin in the upcoming edition of the supernatural thriller franchise.
Informed a source associated with the show, “Yes, we are in talks with Daisy and expecting the deal to be locked soon. Both the makers and the actress are keen on collaborating on the project. The rest of the casting is underway.”
Despite repeated attempts, Daisy remained available for comment.
In a previous chat with us, before she left for Cape Town to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi while talking about her decision to take up a project on TV, the Jai Ho actress said, “I don’t wish to clarify to anybody who is puzzled by my decision to take up a reality show. I wanted to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi because it allows me to challenge myself and acquire new skills in the process. It also gives me a wider audience to connect with. Most importantly, the experience will help me prepare for a project I’ll begin working on by the end of this year.”
We also asked her whether she was open to doing a fiction show on TV to which she said, “I am not the saas-bahu type at all. I am not cut out for it; I steer clear of drama.”
