TV show Faltu will wrap up in the first week of August. The show is ending in nine months and the cast and crew are sad at the sudden decision.
Lead actress Niharika Chouksey says she is shocked that they have decided to end the show.
“We were told about the show wrapping up a few days ago and I was in tears. For almost a day, I thought that it was fake news.
I was not ready to believe that this was happening. The show has had good ratings and it s been appreciated. I think we have consistently done well over the last nine months and yet this decision was taken. I can understand if a show is not doing well and is being pulled off air,” she said.
Niharika, who did Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai before this show, added, “I was playing Harshad Chopda’s younger sister in Yeh Rishta and from there, I went on to play the lead in Faltu. I was playing a kid in Yeh Rishta and here I was playing the lead who was a cricketer, bahu and even a guy on the show.”
Talking about her chemistry with Aakash Ahuja on the show, she said, “Viewers loved it. He also turned out to be my good friend who made me comfortable in all the scenes.” The show also had Mahesh Thakur,
Drishti Thakur, Rakhi Vijan playing important roles. The show revolved around this young village girl Faltu, who has an ambition to become a cricketer.
