The upcoming mystery thriller Do Patti’s first schedule began in Mussoorie with Kriti and Kajol. There were speculations of TV’s heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh being a part of the film. Now, exclusively confirming about the project, Shaheer has said that he is quite thrilled to start with this new journey.
Shaheer, who has joined the movie now, says this is a perfect launch for him on the silver screen.
He exclusively shared his excitement withETimes TV, “I am thrilled to embark on this new journey, and work alongside a wonderful cast and crew to bring such a riveting story to life. I’m nervous and excited in equal measure.”
Shaheer also added, “I love the thrill and challenge of essaying a character with so many shades. Kanika’s a fantastic storyteller and I’m excited to bring her vision to life. It’s an honour to work alongside such a stellar cast. I can’t wait for the world to see what we’re creating.”
The film is currently being shot in the hills of North India. Do Patti will be directed by celebrated ad film director Shashanka Chaturvedi.
Talking about OTT debut, Shaheer had made his debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Paurashpur. However, the actor is not a part of its second season which is slated to go on floors soon. Shaheer had garnered praise for his character in the series and fans were eagerly waiting to see him take up challenging roles apart from TV’s chocolate boy protagonist.
Shaheer was last seen on the small screen in TV show Woh Toh Hai Albela opposite Hiba Nawab. He was also seen in some interesting shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Navya to name a few. Shaheer is much loved for his roles on the small screen and it will be interesting to see him in the upcoming movie starring big names of Bollywood.
