Yesha Rughani’s TV show Kabhie Kabhie Ittefaq Se will wrap up on August 20. The show was supposed to wrap up in the last week of July but it got a few more weeks’ extension. The actress says, “Earlier our show was going off air in the last week of July, and I planned a holiday with my family but then it got an extension. So, I could not cancel my tickets and just returned to shoot for the show.”
Expressing how the journey of her show ended abruptly, Yesha says, “The show started with a good vibe. Everyone also liked it. But, then in order to garner more viewership, the track changed, and the viewers who were enjoying the earlier track got disappointed. Also, I haven’t seen a man who is married with two wives at the same time, but it must be happening because many shows are portraying it, so I can’t say much about it.
I enjoyed playing Gungun and I also liked the earlier banter that she shared with Anubhav (Manan Joshi) but then suddenly to up the ratings they introduced a new character Armaan (Ankit Bathla). And Ankit had hardly entered the show, and the decision to wrap it up was taken. So, I feel the journey was quite abrupt but we have to go with what the audiences like and don’t like. People still come to me asking why the show’s track changed so drastically.”
Yesha, who has been working for the past eight months, plans to go to her hometown Rajkot and spend time with her family. She says, “I will gorge on some good food because I have been eating a lot of healthy food in the past few months and hope to enjoy for a few days.”
