Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor Barun Sobti celebrated his daughter, Shifat’s first birthday on Sunday, June 28. The actor has also opened an Instagram account of his daughter, Shifat, which has photos and videos from her cosy birthday celebration.
Barun, too, shared a few pics from the birthday bash and shared it on his Instagram account. In one of the pictures, Sifat is seen amid balloons and enjoying being there. The actor thanked his fans for sending birthday wishes and wrote, “Thank you very much beloved subscribers for your congratulations to @sifat_sobti Sifat. I love and appreciate you! thank (sic)”
In another post, he shared a photo of Sifat when she was just a few days old, and in another, Barun shared a family photo and wrote: “happy birthday my daughter. all the flowers of the world today to you.. happy first birthday to you! (sic)”
Barun is married to Pashmeen, his childhood friends. They realised their love for each other in college and tied the knot. Pashmeen doesn’t belong to the television industry.
Barun likes to keep his personal life away from the limelight and the news of his wife’s pregnancy was also not known until the last trimester. They got married in December, 2010.
